Find your usual department store size below to find your specific size recommendations (ie Gap, Target, Old Navy). For this particular pair: If you do not carry your weight in your midsection and prefer a locked and loaded fit, you can take this advice and size down one further.
Size 2-16: If you wear this size denim in a department store you will want to take that size and go down 1:
2 would be 1
10 would be 9
16 would be 15
and so forth.
If you are between two sizes at a department store then you would be the middle number. Example: A usual 10/12 your size would be a size 11.
16-24: If you are a 14W-24W, you will also take your true size and go down 1.
16 would be 14W
24 would be 22W
and so forth.
However, If you purchase your denim from Torrid or Lane Bryant, you can stick with your usual size from there.
